Philadelphians are charged far more in premiums than suburbanities. This is still true despite the record drop in auto accidents in Philadelphia in the 1990s. It is time to end discrimination based on zip code. It is time to demand insurance companies stop ripping off city drivers! Pennsylvania must enact the "Insurance Anti-Discrimination Act." This law would require insurance companies to charge premiums based on drivers actual records rather than their home address.
